Automotive OE Logistics Specialist

The Logistics Automotive OEM is responsible for supply chain management, order processing, and related invoicing for the NA OE department. The position is also responsible for the management of Kenda OE inventory throughout the NA supply chain in the US, Canada, and Mexico as a Tier 1 and Tier 2 supplier. This position interacts with our factories, 3rd party supply chain and logistics for Canada and Mexico, corporate OE from purchasing and supply chain as well as Kenda management from North America – this position requires the individual to be organized as well as have exceptional communication skills.

Additionally, the analyst role will manage the administrative duties to interact with the North American Kenda finance team to assure that in process supply chain and inventory management systems are properly followed.



  • Answering customer e-mails and phone calls
  • Customer sales order and purchase order entry – OE requires “On time” and “Just In Time”
  • Creating a broker letter, shipping notice, and packing list
  • Invoicing warehouse shipments, create weekly delivery as needed
  • Coordinating logistics for container deliveries as well as customer returns
  • Processing labels and shipping documents, submission o ASN
  • Customer sales data reporting
  • Container status reporting & supply chain system tracking within the corporate system to confirm ETD and ETA of orders with Kenda Factories. Also interacting with trucking companies
  • Monitor shipment movement& resolve issues (customer hold, congestion, arrival notice, payment delay, etc.)
  • Outbound emails & phone calls to proactively encourage Kenda sales to assure that Kenda America OE inventory does not exceed aging determined by the OE customers


Education, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Minimum High School Degree required with post-High School encouraged; college degree preferred
  • Good at Planning and following up on projects with high responsibility for work to “get the job done”
  • Basic knowledge of accounting with detail orientation and responsibility for accuracy
  • Customer service skills; teamwork-oriented with reporting internally to OE Logistics supervisor
  • Clerical experience and skills with the ability to learn new skills
  • Acumen & Knowledge of Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel
  • Basic data entry and/or word processing skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to prioritize and time management; exceptional organization and discipline
  • Ability to process computer data, format, and generate reports
