RV Tire Sales - Americana Tire & Wheel

Americana Tire and Wheel, a division of American Kenda Rubber, an innovative and progressive tire and wheel supplier to the trailer industry is seeking a driven salesperson to work in Elkhart County, Indiana.

We are a market leader in supplying tire and wheel assemblies to trailer manufacturers and distributors. Candidate should have a minimum of 3-5 years prior sales experience, 2 years industry-specific.

Objectives & Sales Goals

  • Increase Top Line Revenue by 15% YOY


  • Increase Market Share RV Travel Trailer Segment 5% YOY


  • Increase Presence in RV related marketing, multi-media advertising, show participation (and product placement/display/presentation/merchandising opportunities)


  • Increase, Prospect & Develop high-quality leads, new sales opportunities, and customer relationships.


  • Establish & Maintain exemplary customer service with new and current customer base.


  • Focus on customer-driven needs, servicing customer demands, and complaint resolution.


  • Stay Informed, Continual Updating, and Monitoring industry/trade sectors, competitor advantage & pricing, marketplace-territory factors, and developments.


Experience Required

  • Previous sales experience in RV market (Min 3-5 years, industry-specific Min 2 years).


  • Track-record substantiated verifiable productivity in previous sales work history.


  • Experienced in sales directed presentations, analyses, negotiation, closing, and retention.


  • Industry & Trade References


  • Motivated to cultivate new business, professional self-starter, demonstrated initiative


  • Familiarity, Usage, Experience, Skill with CRM, product manuals & literature, catalogs, marketing tools, price lists)


  • Familiar with Drive CRM system, pipeline management, file management, documentation
  • Proven knowledge (Efficiency) with Territory Management


  • Lives locally (within Elkhart county)


  • Effective written and verbal communication skills (knowledge & experience with Microsoft Office, outlook, word, power-point presentations, spreadsheets a plus)


  • College degree or industry sales experience equivalent



  • Specific number of cold calls per week – audited weekly
  • Specific number of face to face appointments per week – audited weekly
  • Activity & Results Reports submission -Monthly territory analysis, evaluations, projections, forecasting
